Although the stainless steel chain has good rust resistance, it cannot withstand long-term exposure to a humid environment or direct contact with easily corrosive liquids, so the stainless steel chain will also have rust spots. To deal with these rust spots on the stainless steel chain, there is an "artifact", that is, pickling paste.

The use of pickling paste is one of the common methods to remove rust spots on the surface of stainless steel chains. The reason why it is widely favored by users is that the use of pickling paste can greatly improve the smoothness of the surface of the stainless steel chain, and the surface of the chain forms a Passivation film, in this way, also helps to extend the service life of the stainless steel chain.

At present, this method of rust removal using pickling paste has been applied by most users of stainless steel chains, so most industries such as chemical machinery, food machinery, printing and dyeing machinery, pharmaceutical machinery, pressure vessel manufacturing, etc. will use it .

How is the pickling paste used in the stainless steel chain? It's very simple. First apply the pickling paste on the surface of the stainless steel chain. Pay attention to the control of the thickness of the coating film, try to control it between 0.5-2mm, and control the time above 3-10 minutes. If the temperature is low in winter, or when it is used in places below 0°C or with thick oxide skin, the time can be appropriately extended.

In this process, it is recommended to brush the stainless steel chain several times with a brush. When the oxide scale on the surface of the stainless steel chain is completely removed, use clean water. You can also use lime water or alkaline water to clean the stainless steel chain. Return rust makes the rust removal work more thorough.
